Le Pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique, F\u00e9lix-Antoine Tshisekedi, a pris part \u00e0 la table-ronde \u00e9conomique organis\u00e9e ce jeudi 5 f\u00e9vrier 2026 par la Chambre am\u00e9ricaine de commerce internationale, \u00e0 Washington.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cette table-ronde a \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u2019occasion pour le Pr\u00e9sident de pr\u00e9senter l’ambition de la RDC comme \u00abpays-solutions\u00bb, face aux grands d\u00e9fis mondiaux. \u00ab Congo is open for business \u00bb, \u00ab la RDC est pr\u00eate pour les affaires \u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9. Mais chaque dollar investit doit contribuer \u00e0 la paix et \u00e0 la prosp\u00e9rit\u00e9 du peuple congolais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La R\u00e9publique D\u00e9mocratique du Congo se trouve aujourd\u2019hui \u00e0 la crois\u00e9e des chemins, en Afrique comme dans le monde. \u00abGr\u00e2ce \u00e0 tous nos atouts, nous avons des r\u00e9ponses aux grands probl\u00e8mes du monde \u00bb, a soulign\u00e9 le chef de l\u2019Etat. Le pays concentre plus de 70 % du cobalt mondial. Il dispose \u00e9galement d\u2019immenses r\u00e9serves de cuivre, de lithium, d\u2019\u00e9tain, de tantale et de niobium. Par son potentiel hydro\u00e9lectrique unique, le Grand barrage d’Inga peut fournir une \u00e9nergie propre, abondante et comp\u00e9titive, indispensable \u00e0 l\u2019industrialisation, \u00e0 la transformation locale des ressources et \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019emplois \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Parall\u00e8lement, la RDC consolide le Couloir vert Kivu\u2013Kinshasa, lanc\u00e9 en 2025. Ce projet structurant vise \u00e0 convertir des zones affect\u00e9es par les conflits en p\u00f4les de croissance, de coh\u00e9sion sociale et de pr\u00e9servation environnementale. Il apporte une r\u00e9ponse globale \u2014 \u00e9conomique, sociale et s\u00e9curitaire \u2014 en cr\u00e9ant des emplois durables dans l\u2019agriculture responsable, la restauration des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes et l\u2019\u00e9cotourisme, tout en offrant une alternative cr\u00e9dible \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9conomie de guerre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Les partenariats engag\u00e9s par la R\u00e9publique D\u00e9mocratique du Congo notamment avec les \u00c9tats-Unis d’Am\u00e9rique et des acteurs industriels, traduisent une ferme volont\u00e9 de faire de la transition \u00e9cologique un levier de stabilit\u00e9 et de paix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cette table-ronde s’est cl\u00f4tur\u00e9e par un \u00e9change ouvert avec des officiels am\u00e9ricains qui y ont pris part, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de repr\u00e9sentants de grandes multinationales, dont Glencore, Mercuria, Helios Towers, Ivanhoe Mines. La d\u00e9l\u00e9gation congolaise comprenait notamment M. Daniel Mukoko Samba, vice-Premier ministre, ministre de l\u2019\u00c9conomie et M. Louis Watum, ministre des Mines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
